'Drivetrain Upgrade Fiasco' n/a miles | RIDE VIDEO
I went to collect a parcel from Evans Cycles after receiving an e-mail from them stating that the components I ordered had arrived at the store.
There were three items in the order, a new rear sprocket for the Shimano Nexus hub, a new 1/8 chain and a chain tool. The sales assistants couldn't find the rear sprocket so they've re-ordered it and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow. Incompetence!

The bike was checked over by VonCrank mechanics at the show and they concluded that my chain was stretched and that the rear sprocket was worn. This explains why the chain has been coming off of late. I was surprised however because there are only about 1200 miles on the drivetrain and a 1/8 chain is a lot stronger that a 3/32 chain. It could be a tension issue.

This thought-provoking exhibition brings together several series of work by artist-photographer Edmund Clark to explore the hidden experiences of state control during the 'Global War on Terror'.

Looking at issues of security, secrecy, representation and legality, the show focuses on the measures taken by states to protect their citizens from the threat of terrorism, and the far-reaching effects of such methods of control. WEB SITE
