The
sun came out and we had hail and snow, but we really
enjoyed the ride. :-)

To
celebrate Easter, come join IBikeLondon for
a free fun and sociable bike ride around East
London.
We
will meet at 10:30am on Saturday 30th March
at St Paul’s Church Yard, on the steps
in front of the cathedral (postcode: EC4M)
and the ride will start at 11:00am. It should
take around 2 hours to complete and the pace
will be relaxed.
The
City, Canary Wharf cycling along the Thames.
We will cross the river through the Greenwich
Foot Tunnel and follow the Thames path until
Bermondsey. We will end up at the pub, the
Angel (101 Bermondsey Wall East, Rotherhithe,
London SE16 4NB).
The
route covers 20 kilometres (12 miles) and
is flat most of the way. If you have a GPS
or a smartphone we recommend downloading the
route map onto your device. We will hand out
small maps at the start. |

Update:
I
took the jacket to the tailor at my local dry cleaners
and he did everything for £80.
Great
job, I should get a good few more years of wear
out of it.

I
was clearing out my wardrobe last week and decided
it was time to resurrect my 15 year old black leather
jacket, it's been hanging up in there for the past
5-6 years because of a busted zip. The lining is
also threadbare and the two main front pockets have
holes in them.
I
found this business after a quick search and decided
to pop down there.
There is a serious shortage of cycle parking in
the area, I finally found space on a bike stand
in Baker Street.
Well,
to cut a long story short here are the prices I
was quoted.
£200 - Lining
£85 - Zip
£25 - per pocket
-------------------
£335
-------------------
Needless
to say, I'm still looking for the right tailor.
